Set in 1980s, Enjambment is set in 1980. Its language and expressions are modern. The story deals with modern themes, like sexual hypnosis, exercise and fitness, and the cult of body worship that became synonymous with the 1980s in the wake of Olivia Newton John’s “Physical.”
We follow “Pete” who has taught himself how to seduce a straight man. He has his sights set on Darryl, a typical weightlifting jock at the local country club. In graphic detail, he describes his hypnotic method and the many sexual acts he persuades this young man to perform. Or so he thinks.
